Extensive modernization and energy savings

Extensive modernization and energy saving improvements to an existing elderly/disabled residential housing facility through HUD grant in Gratz, PA. The 30 unit complex upgrades included new “green” insulation made from soy beans, hardy-plank siding from recycled materials, metal roofing from local manufacturer, energy efficient windows, PV solar panels for self-efficient electrical system, and solar hot water panels. Also constructed new entrances and corresponding walkways.
