Karns Quality Foods, New Bloomfield Addition

A 2 Phase Project

This was an interesting 2 phase project for Karns Foods. They had a smaller store in a New Bloomfield strip mall and were looking to expand without moving. Phase 1 of the project created a 8,000 S.F. new shell space to move True Value into. The scope also added a 6,400 S.F. foundation for a future addition. The phase mobilized in April and hit substantial completion in August. Once True Value relocated to the new space, Phase 2 started in September. Our crews demolished the adjoining wall and then renovated 6,350 S.F. of the old hardware store, as well as 4,165 S.F. of Karns’ existing space. We also added a 1,400 S.F. Cooler Pad and a 500 S.F. Entry Addition. Work was completed right as the year closed out.
