This project is a Four (4) Span Prestressed Composite Box Beam Structure. The project was a design/build, which initially required micropiles at all substructure units. Scott Sanders and our designer WBCM took a chance on some foundation assumptions to bid it as spread footing substructure units versus the proposed micropile design which led to a much more competitive bid and fortunately their assumptions were correct.
