Helping Select Medical Expand

When repeat client Select Medical needs a space transformed, Lobar Associates is ready—no matter the location. Our team recently traveled to Odenton, Maryland, to renovate a vacant tenant space and tailor it to Select Medical’s specific layout requirements for a new outpatient rehabilitation therapy center.

The project involved the full demolition and renovation of a 5,520-square-foot former dental office. To keep patient services uninterrupted, the work was executed in multiple carefully coordinated phases. First, we constructed a temporary treatment room using hospital-grade ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) panels, allowing rehab services to continue safely while renovations progressed in the main treatment area.

Once the primary rehab space was complete, we transitioned to renovating the smaller temporary area. The result is a fully modernized, accessible facility that meets all code and healthcare standards—delivered on schedule with minimal disruption.
