Dreibelbis Station Covered Bridge

About This Project

Location:
Lenhartsville, PA

Description:

The Dreibelbis Station Covered Bridge Rehabilitation project was the first of its kind for Lobar. Built in 1869 under a $6,000 contract, 6 men took 6 months to construct the bridge. Spanning over 168 ft, it is one of five remaining covered bridges in Berks County and is one of the longest single-span covered bridges remaining in the country. Fast forward 150 years and we gave this historical bridge the $4.1 million makeover it deserved.
